  • Our History: A Legacy Restored

Opened in August 2017, the Orange County Public Schools Academic Center for Excellence (OCPS ACE) marked a historic milestone for Orlando’s historic Parramore community. As the first new school built in Parramore in over four decades, OCPS ACE restored neighborhood-based education to the heart of the community, uniting children from preschool through 8th grade on a single, state-of-the-art 13-acre campus.

Built on a foundation of resilience, community pride, and academic opportunity, OCPS ACE was designed to remove traditional barriers to student achievement by combining high-quality instruction with comprehensive health, wellness, and family support services.

  • A Unique K-8 UCF Certified Community Partnership School

OCPS ACE operates as a UCF Certified Community Partnership School—an innovative, holistic model that brings together top educational, healthcare, and civic organizations directly onto our campus to empower students and families.
